Meath residents receive flooding assurances

The Meath county manager has assured residents in Clonee and Dunboyne that the county council will work to eliminate the risk of further flooding in the towns.

The Meath county manager has assured residents in Clonee and Dunboyne that the county council will work to eliminate the risk of further flooding in the towns.

Both areas were badly affected by recent flooding in the east of the country. The flooding has caused havoc in Meath and Dublin.

This week there were further outbreaks of flooding, with Cork badly affected.
