Lawyers for businessman Owen O’Callaghan are due to resume their cross-examination of Tom Gilmartin at the Mahon Tribunal later today.

Mr Gilmartin repeatedly referred to Mr O’Callaghan as a “crook” during last week’s proceedings.

The Cork businessman was hoping to develop a shopping centre in the Neilstown area of Dublin at the same time that Mr Gilmartin was trying to get his Quarryvale plans off the ground in nearby Lucan.

Mr Gilmartin has claimed that O’Callaghan was conspiring against him with the help of politicians like Liam Lawlor and George Redmond.
