Polish man arrested in connection with Galway murder

Gardaí have this afternoon arrested a Polish man in connection with the murder of Claregalwayman Kieran Cunningham last month.

Gardaí have this afternoon arrested a Polish man in connection with the murder of Claregalwayman Kieran Cunningham last month.

The 20-year-old was fatally stabbed at Williamsgate Street in the early hours of Wednesday, the 3rd of June.

The 27-year-old Polish national was arrested at Pearse Street in Dublin shortly after 5.30pm.
