Business association calls for regulation of adult entertainment stores

Calls are being made for the regulation of adult entertainment outlets in Dublin city centre.

It follows the publication of a report by the Dublin City Business Association which looked at the South William Street area.

There is currently no regulation in terms of planning guidelines or licensing of the adult entertainment industry in Dublin.

That means any shop with a retail license can become a adult entertainment outlet and any club with a dance and bar license can become an erotic dancing club.
