Kilkenny U21s make two changes

All-Ireland U21 hurling champions Kilkenny have made two changes from the team that saw off Galway in the semi-final for Saturday’s final against Tipperary in Nowlan Park.

All-Ireland U21 hurling champions Kilkenny have made two changes from the team that saw off Galway in the semi-final for Saturday’s final against Tipperary in Nowlan Park.

Sean O’Neill and Owen Reid replace John Phelan and Brian Dowling at right and left half-forward respectively.

The team also includes three players who figured in the All-Ireland senior hurling final loss to Cork last Sunday.

Wing-back Tommy Walsh played the full 70 minutes, while corner-forward James Fitzpatrick was replaced and Conor Phelan came on from the bench.
