The final match of week 1 of the Premier League kicks off shortly with title contenders Chelsea away to newly promoted Burnley.
Petr Cech’s 10-year reign as Chelsea’s number one looks to be over after Jose Mourinho named Thibaut Courtois in goal for Monday night’s game at Burnley.
Three years after signing for the Blues, Courtois made his debut in Chelsea’s first game of the season, and Cech was named among the substitutes.
Summer signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa also started while there was also a place in the team for World Cup winner Andre Schurrle.
Burnley, making their first Premier League appearance in five years, handed debuts to Matt Taylor and Lukas Jutkiewicz.
