$5m reward offered over USS Cole bombing

The US is to offer a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the persons responsible for the attack on the warship USS Cole.

The US is to offer a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the persons responsible for the attack on the warship USS Cole.

News of the reward is to be publicised in Yemen, the Middle East and other areas.

The attack on October 12 last year killed 17 sailors and wounded 30 others.

Three suspects sought by Yemeni authorities in connection with the bombing are thought to be in Afghanistan.
