Cork road accident leaves two dead

Two men have been killed in an accident in the early hours of this morning in Co Cork.

Two men have been killed in an accident in the early hours of this morning in Co Cork.

The 26-year-old driver and passenger of a car were killed when the vehicle crashed into a tree at Farran, near Macroom.

Gardai say there was no other vehicle involved in the accident.

Nearly 390 people have been killed in road accidents this year.
