Red Hand unchanged for Mayo clash
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has named an unchanged side from the team that defeated Laois last week for their All-Ireland quarter-final meeting with Mayo at Croke Park tomorrow (Saturday).
Goalkeeper Pascal McConnell, who lost two teeth during the 14-point trouncing of the Leinster finalists, has been passed fit following dental surgery.
Full-forward Owen Mulligan also gets the nod, having recovered from a dead leg.
There is still no starting place for Peter Canavan - the Errigal Ciaran man is believed to have been troubled by a recurrence of an ankle injury. However, the Red Hand talisman could be sprung from the bench.
Clan na nGael clubman Brian Dooher leads the side, the fourth player to do so in just over eight months.
Canavan's ankle injury ruled him out at the start of 2004 when the late Cormac McAnallen assumed the captain's armband before Dooher took charge.
