The parents of murdered French film producer Sophie Toscan duPlantier have arrived in Cork for a memorial service for their daughter.

Georges and Marguerite Bouniol are due to attend mass in Goleen on Sunday, to mark the 15th anniversary of Sophie's death.

The 39-year-old was beaten to death at her West Cork holiday home in 1996.

Nobody has ever been charged with her murder.

Former journalist Ian Bailey is currently fighting extradition to France, where magistrates are seeking to question him about the killing.

He strenuously denies any involvement.
