Two Dublin sisters have denied the murder of a Somalian man, who’s dismembered body was found in the Royal Canal in Dublin last year.

Charlotte Mulhall, aged 23, from Kilcare Gardens in Tallaght and Linda Mulhall, a mother-of-four, aged 31, from the same address each pleased not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to the murder of 38-year-old Sheilila Salim (also known as Farah Swaleh Noor) at Richmond Cottages Ballybough on March 20th last year

His headless body was found in the Royal Canal near Ballybough in Dublin on March 30, 2005.

A jury of six women and six men has been sworn in for the trial of the two women which is due to go ahead on Thursday.
