Gardaí are treating as suspicious a fire at an apartment complex in south county Dublin.

Gardaí are treating as suspicious a fire at an apartment complex in south county Dublin.

The blaze broke out in the underground car-park of the Carrigmore Crescent building in Saggart in the early hours of this morning.

It's understood that three or four cars were set on fire.

Residents had to be evacuated from the building shortly after 2.30am this morning.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire.
