FCA man injured during shooting exercise

The Defence Forces have launched an investigation into the wounding of a FCA member during a shooting exercise at the Gormanstown military base in Co Meath yesterday.

The man, from Co Monaghan, suffered injuries to his arm in the incident.

He was taken to hospital in Drogheda, but was due to be transferred to St James’ in Dublin today.
