Gallas out of Sevilla trip

Arsenal will be without captain William Gallas for the Champions League trip to Sevilla, but welcome back midfield trio Cesc Fabregas, Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto.

Arsenal will be without captain William Gallas for the Champions League trip to Sevilla, but welcome back midfield trio Cesc Fabregas, Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto.

Defender Philippe Senderos returns following a back injury, however striker Emmanuel Adebayor and full-back Gael Clichy did not travel with the rest of the squad to Spain.

Manager Arsene Wenger had indicated during the build up to the European match would again rotate his side, with Arsenal already qualified for the last 16.

Robin van Persie also missed the trip as he continued to work on match fitness following a knee problem.
