Ireland 9 England 20

Manu Tuilagi and Delon Armitage both registered tries as England rounded off a miserable set of World Cup warm-up matches for Ireland at Aviva Stadium today.

Tuilagi, who was highly impressive in only his second Test appearance, and Armitage touched down in each half with Jonny Wilkinson landing two conversions and two penalties.

The kicking of Ronan O’Gara kept Ireland in sight, but the home side were reeling from the loss of openside David Wallace to a knee injury that puts his World Cup participation in grave doubt.

Full report to follow.
