Manchester City’s new signing Samir Nasri is still expected to make his home debut this weekend despite a hand injury.

City are yet to confirm the nature of the problem Nasri suffered whilst on international duty with France this week but are not thought to be overly concerned.

It has been reported the 24-year-old broke a finger after coming on as a 75th-minute substitute in France’s Euro 2012 qualifier in Romania on Tuesday.

But Nasri, signed for £24m from Arsenal last month, is still in contention to face Wigan in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.
