Officials meet to discuss Dublin traffic

Officials from the Dublin City Council and the Department of Transport are due to meet today to discuss the complicated new traffic scheme which came into force in the city yesterday.

Officials from the Dublin City Council and the Department of Transport are due to meet today to discuss the new traffic scheme which came into force in the city yesterday.

The Department has already expressed anger that the changes were introduced without any consultation and other officials have suggested that the new road signs around Dublin may be illegal.

Transport Minister Seamus Brennan is not expected to attend today’s talks because he is on holidays.
