390 patients on trolleys at A&E units nationwide

The Irish Nurses Organisation says 390 people are waiting on trolleys in A&E units around the country today.

The Irish Nurses Organisation says 390 people are waiting on trolleys in A&E units around the country today.

The organisation says 225 patients are on trolleys in the eastern region alone, 43 of them in Tallaght Hospital.

The highest number outside the capital is at University College Hospital Galway, where 38 patients area awaiting beds.
