Bolton have announced they expect to sign Swedish winger Christian Wilhelmsson on loan from Nantes “in the next 24 hours”.

Bolton have announced they expect to sign Swedish winger Christian Wilhelmsson on loan from Nantes “in the next 24 hours”.

The 27-year-old will arrive on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Wilhelmsson, a Sweden international, spent the second half of last season on loan at Serie A side Roma.
