Members of the Builders union BATU are continuing a sit-in at the union's offices in Dublin this morning.

They are calling for the resignation of the General Secretary Paddy O'Shaughnessy.

They are also concerned about what they claim are financial irregularities.

Dan O'Connell, chairman of the Carpentry Branch of BATU said a planned election in the union for next month has been called off.
