A lasp-gasp point from Cork's Cathal Naughton ensured the 2008 Hurling All Stars snatched a draw with their 2009 counterparts in an exhibition match played in sunny conditions at the Hurlingham Hurling Club in Buenos Aires.

Managed by Brian Cody, it did not take the 2009 All Stars long to respond with Lar Corbett of Tipperary firing the ball past his Premier County colleague Brendan Cummins.
The 2009 side continued to build momentum, with Dublin's Alan McCrabbe adding two points.
Scores flowed freely from the current All Star selection with one point each coming from Tommy Walsh and John Mullane, while Kilkenny midfielder Michael Rice bagged 1-2.
Waterford's Eoin Kelly, Tony Browne and Eoin McGrath replied with points but the 2009 All Stars held a 2-9 to 1-8 lead at the break.
The 2008 All Stars produced an improved display in the second half with the impressive Carroll netting a second goal.
The Coolderry man was superb throughout this game with McCrabbe and Mullane both scoring further goals for the 2009 side.
However, the 2008 side finished strongly with goals from Joe Canning and Eoin McGrath and Naughton's late point saw the teams share the spoils.
