Stoke face Cup tie without suspended duo

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is without Abdoulaye Faye and Andy Wilkinson through suspension for tomorrow’s FA Cup fifth-round replay against Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is without Abdoulaye Faye and Andy Wilkinson through suspension for tomorrow’s FA Cup fifth-round replay against Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium.

Faye completes a two-match ban after his dismissal in the initial tie last week, while Wilkinson serves a one-match ban following his sending-off for two bookable offences in the 2-1 win at Portsmouth on Saturday.

Pulis will be hoping Danny Higginbotham can cover for Wilkinson after he missed the game at Fratton Park following a back spasm that forced him off in the 1-1 cup draw at Eastlands a week ago.

Although winger Matthew Etherington is back in light training after recovering from a knee injury, the game comes too soon for him to be considered.

Team (from): Sorensen, Huth, Amdy Faye, Higginbotham, Collins, Lawrence, Sidibe, Whitehead, Delap, Diao, Kitson, Beattie, Fuller, Tuncay, Pugh, Whelan, Simonsen, Begovic.
