Henry doubtful for Anfield clash
Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is doubtful for Sunday’s Barclays Premiership trip to Liverpool with a calf injury.
The Frenchman aggravated the problem during Wednesday night’s ill-tempered Champions League clash at PSV Eindhoven and has been given only a “50-50 chance” of being fit by Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger.
Robin van Persie was stretchered off in Holland but Wenger is hopeful his knee will recover in time for him to feature at Anfield. Jose Reyes (knee) is also expected to be fit for Sunday.
Dennis Bergkamp faces a fitness test on his Achilles but Sol Campbell showed no ill effects from his return to action after a month out with a calf problem.
Gael Clichy (ankle) is still sidelined, as are Edu (foot) and Gilberto (back).
