Arsenal captain Thierry Henry will return to the squad for tomorrow night’s Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium.
The Frenchman had been sidelined because of a foot problem and a troublesome hamstring, but joined in with training today.
“He can start, if I decide to start him,” manager Arsene Wenger said at this afternoon’s official UEFA press conference.
“There is no risk for his health, but it is just it could get worse again after the game and that you then start from scratch.”
Gilberto is expected to revert to his preferred midfield role, while striker Emmanuel Adebayor and defender Kolo Toure are available despite their domestic suspension – but full-back Emmanuel Eboue (ankle) is still out.
Philippe Senderos (hamstring), Tomas Rosicky (groin), Mathieu Flamini (foot) and Justin Hoyte (hamstring) all remain sidelined.
